Remembering Nottingham Sinfonietta

We will continue our 50th anniversary celebrations by going back to where it all began.  The first concert by the then Nottingham Sinfonietta was in St Giles' Church, West Bridgford and that is where we will be on Saturday 9th March 2024 for a concert opening, as it did in 1974, with Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture.

Schumann's Konzertstuck is a three movement concerto for four French Horns and orchestra and will feature the NPO's own horn section as soloists.  The concert also includes Beethoven's best known Symphony, the 5th.
