Klaus Badelt (b. 1967)

Klaus Badelt enjoyed a highly successful career as a music producer and film composer in his native Germany before moving to America in 1998, at the invitation of fellow composer Hans Zimmer. He now lives in Los Angeles. He has written for over 25 film scores, including Gladiator, the Thin Red Line, Pearl Harbour, and K-19: The Widowmaker. His soundtracks are recorded by some famous conductors and orchestras, including one by Valery Gergiev and the Kirov Orchestra.
